Technical Assistance
This category of services is provided at no cost to SEAs and LEAs supported by the federal contract for the Northwest Educational Technology Consortium (NETC). The amount of support is limited, and is available until the end of the contract September 30, 2005.
Technical Assistance includes several areas of support a school district might require in the process of planning for technology, including:
- Working with a district committee to establish the planning process
- Assisting the committee with the development of vision and goal statements
- Designing and administering needs surveys
- Reviewing and critiquing components or versions of the plan
- Assisting in developing an evaluation plan
- Conducting staff development
- Assessing results
Other types of assistance such as addressing defined student audiences such as early childhood, homebound, or alternative schools can also be considered. For information or services, contact:
