Videoconferencing to Access Community Services
Teachers, counselors, and parents use videoconferencing technology to:
- Save time and travel expense, and increase the timeliness, ease, and frequency of contact for everyone
- Decrease student absence from class
- Allow increased and more personal monitoring of student attendance, progress, and success
- Encourage a Team approach to the education of students who come under law enforcement and other agency jurisdiction
- Provide a broader knowledge base for educational decisions about students
- Allow for increased contact with parents
- Provide staff development to give everyone working in the system sufficient knowledge and skills to use the equipment.
