Visions, Goals, Objectives
Vision:
A vision statement for the development of distance education teaching and learning will state a school or district's beliefs-its view of the future that the use of videoconferencing technology can help bring about.

Goal:
A goal is a statement of broad direction, general purpose, or intent. It is general and timeless and is not concerned with a particular achievement within a specified time period.

Objective:
An objective is measurable, is linked to goals, and puts specific task(s) and responsibilities into a time line for implementation.
- By the start of the next school year, _________ School District will put into place a system for the distance delivery of educational materials to students in need of that sort of educational opportunity, with implementation steps that include the installation, testing, and running of the necessary hardware and software for two-way, interactive videoconferencing, and completion of professional and technical staff development for all staff participating in Project Phase I.
