Online Teachers@Work Symposium

Seventy-five experienced K-12 online educators convened in December 2004 to explore the themes, issues, and effective practices unique to the online environment and specific content areas. Discussions included:

• Curriculum development strategies
• Instructional delivery practices
• Learning environments
• Effective teaching practices specific to math, science, language arts, social studies, and various electives
• Student outcomes
• Administrative issues
