Trinidad and Tobago are two small islands off the coast of
Venezuela. Trinidad is the largest of the two, yet it's only
about the size of Delaware, it takes up 95% of the total population
and land area of the two islands. Tobago is located about 20
miles northeast of Trinidad. Trinidad is on the line of being
in the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea.
Trinidad and Tobago have an impressive literacy rate of 97%,
just 1% under the USA's. The major industries are oil products,
rum, cement, and tourism. Port-of-Spain is its capital, but
more importantly its main port. Trinidad and Tobago's main imports
are raw materials, machinery, and manufacturing. Their main
exports are petroleum, steel, fertilizer, sugar, cocoa, coffee,
and fruit. The annual income per person is an astounding $4,026
(far more than any other I've seen).
